Sales Manager (Travel Agent) - De Palma Group of Hotels & Resort

Min 4 years (Manager)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.
  • Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Participates in local and overseas trade shows and sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
  • Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
  • Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
  • Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Supports the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Services our customers in order to grow share of the account.
  • Regularly review promotional activities to ensure all business units can plan and/or adjust their functional needs accordingly, as well as to gather consumer feedback and enhancement requests.

QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional
  • Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Preferably candidates with experience in the hospitality industries, specializing in tourism Wholesale/ Travel Agent
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar capacity for Sales Executive (Travel Agent) post
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar capacity for Sales Manager (Travel Agent) post
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Computer Literate
  • Willing to work in Ampang
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

Work Location: De Palma Hotel Ampang

Working Hours: Saturdays/Shift required

Business Development Manager -De Palma Group of Hotels & Resort

Min 5 years (Manager)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Report directly to the Group Director of Sales & Marketing of De Palma Group of Hotels & Resort.
  • Achieve sales target and works toward exceeding predetermined quotas set by the hotel.
  • Acquire new Corporate and Government clients for the hotel while maintaining contact with existing clients to obtain more business.
  • Gathers market and guests/customers information and provide feedback to the company.
  • Execution of the marketing strategy, advertising, promoting and sales of the hotel properties and products.
  • Manage the hotel branding by promoting De Palma Hotels & Resort to the target market as a desirable location to stay, go on holiday, host business functions or hold events.
  • Successfully promoting and advocate the brand.
  • Managing relationship with Corporate clients.
  • Constantly seek to identify unmet guest’s needs and work towards developing new/improving current products and strategies to sustain our competitive advantage.
  • Primary responsibility is to identify and target Corporate Business by regular visitations & soliciting new potential accounts in your assigned industries.
  • Effectively maintaining a proper portfolio of Key Accounts of designated industry coverage.
  • Monitoring and create effective sales plan to compete with our competitors.
  • Supervising Sales Coordinators, provide training and enhance their skills.
  • Generating new ideas for incentives and accommodation or business packages and other Sales and Marketing duties.
  • Submit sales planning and sales report on weekly basis
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when assigned by your superior from time to time.
